GoodStuff Donation Policies

If you really want to help the Food Bank serve our community, please follow our donation acceptance policies. Items that are in poor condition or do not sell must be dumped and this uses up valuable dollars that we would rather put into serving our community. Thank you.

Dropping off donations at the GoodStuff store

Donation hours: 10:30 am – 4:30 pm, seven days a week.

Dropping off donations at the GoodStuff store:  Please call 415-456-4227 before dropping off any donations at the store.  Our sorting and floor space is very limited and we cannot always accept everything offered on a daily basis.  Before unloading, please come in and ask an employee to look at your donations.  Please check the list above for items that we do not take, and for the condition items need to be in to be accepted.

Dropping off large items at the GoodStuff Store: Please park in the loading zone space, next to the store, on “G” Street as all large items must be brought in through the front door.  We have hand trucks and a furniture dolly available for your use when dropping off large items.  Unfortunately, the volunteers are not able to help you unload furniture so please bring help with you.

Dropping off small items: You can deliver small items to our back door, in our parking lot off “G” Street during the donation hours listed above.  Please see a staff person before unloading your car.
